The 55th Certificate! Balloon Guiding Catheter

Recently, the Balloon Guiding Catheter independently developed by SuZhou LavaMed Co.,Ltd., a subsidiary of Mednovo Medical Group, has been approved for marketing by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), with the registration certificate number: National Medical Device Registration No. 20263031193.This marks the 55th medical device registration certificate obtained by Mednovo Medical Group.


Balloon Guiding Catheter


The balloon guiding catheter independently developed by Mednovo Medical Group is a neurointerventional access device.

Indications:This product is used to assist the insertion of intravascular catheters and guide them to target vessels within the neurovascular system. The balloon can temporarily occlude the blood vessel.

During the procedure, the balloon is inflated to its rated volume with an inflation medium to temporarily block the antegrade blood flow of the target vessel. Upon completion of the operation, the inflation lumen is aspirated to fully deflate the balloon, restoring normal blood flow.

Structure and Composition:The product consists of an inner tube, middle tube, outer tube, balloon, catheter hub and strain relief tube. The surface of the outer tube is coated with a hydrophilic coating. The package also includes accessories: a T-type hemostatic valve, a peel-away sheath and an introducer sheath.
