Recently, the microcatheter developed in-house by Hangzhou Ruiweite Medical Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Mednovo Medical Group, has been granted marketing approval by China’s National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), under registration number 20263031410.
This marks the 59th medical device registration obtained by Mednovo Medical Group.
NMPA Registration No. 20263031410
Developed independently by Mednovo Medical Group, the Zhaoji® Microcatheter is a vascular interventional device indicated for coronary and peripheral interventional procedures. It assists guidewires in navigating through vascular stenotic lesions, and also supports the delivery of contrast media.
Product Advantages
1. Precise Trackability
Featuring an ultra-slim 1.3F tapered tip with high-visibility radiopaque markers, the device delivers precise positioning and exceptional crossability. Its superior trackability allows the catheter to advance seamlessly in tandem with the guidewire, easily traversing stenotic lesions in distal vessels to establish interventional access efficiently and safely.
The catheter shaft adopts a dual-layer reinforcement structure of cross-braided metal and multi-strand coil, paired with a multi-segment graduated stiffness design. This configuration delivers consistent, robust support for the guidewire throughout the procedure, with a flexible shaft and smooth stiffness transitions. Its uniform torque response reduces frictional resistance for smooth advancement, enabling easy navigation through tortuous vessels, stable intraoperative handling, and effectively improved procedural success rates.
The outer shaft is coated with hydrophilic coating in three length specifications, while the inner lumen features an ultra-lubricious PTFE lining. Combined with its soft atraumatic tip, the device causes minimal vascular irritation and trauma during procedures, enabling low-resistance guidewire delivery and significantly enhancing the pushability and crossability of both the guidewire and microcatheter.
Three hydrophilic coating length options:
· 50 cm: optimized for superior stability
· 60 cm: versatile all-around performance for routine use
· 70 cm: enhanced smoothness and crossability
The distal end of the microcatheter supports microchannel dilation, enabling safe contrast media injection for greater procedural convenience. It has a rated maximum burst pressure of 300 psi.
